I'm really impressed razer did all reviewers and users wishes implementing water resistance, improved brightness, wireless charging and most important the led lighted logo.

and all the hype has started. I was hoping to see this lapdoc coming with Razer phone 2. It was for me a deal breaker. I use Samsung phones since Galaxy S2 this was suppose to be my first non-samsung phone from a long time.
First leaks say that this will be the first Snapdragon 855 phone. Later we all had news that it will be 845 I said to myself ok it is not a big deal....
Then image leaks showing same design as on RP1 I thought that this is very bad since design is not modern enough but, I thought it is due to Project Linda so I said ok it is only design you still get a phone which you can turn into a mobile multimedia laptop.

Now there is no lapdock announced.

I think that you made this phone since you promised not that you really wanted to do it. You did not put to much effort to create something big and something we all wanted. "You wanted it? You got it now get lost..."

Think you can join Apple and Google in the walk of Shame this year.

I'm not gonna lie I like it. I will wait though and see how two things pan out. One will be how VZW handles this phone and if they will limit band use like what happen with HTC. The other will be just how much the camera setup has actually improved. Even on Razer's own site the photos from the phone look amazing dull.

Must say I’m a little disappointed with this launch. I was expecting more than a light up wireless charging dock and a joystick to come with this phone. The ASUS is coming with a truckload of peripherals to compliment the “gaming” aspect of their phone and even created a dock for desktop expansion.

We got a glimpse of this from Razer with Project Linda, but then nothing was announced. Project Linda was gonna be the first in its class and now they’ve given one of the “bigs” enough time to create one of their own. Was really looking forward to upgrading to the Phone 2 from my S8+ to have the mobility of a “DeX like” solution, but I think I’ll wait and see if Samsung introduces a DeX Lapdock instead.

Is the Cortex app gonna be available through the Playstore? Or it is restricted to the RP1 and RP2. :slightly_sad:

Couple things:

A) Razer really needs to sign carrier agreements like OnePlus is doing with the 6t. In doing so, the company will see greater adoption via the ability to subsidize the cost; and
😎 Enough of the concept project tease and bring Project Linda to life. It will offer a compelling reason to buy the RP2 in a crowded, hyper-competitive market.

Would look nice next to my mamba charging dock, and base station chroma headset stand

(wish I had a razer mug to round out my collection of cool square shaped chroma thinges)

Still I was here only for project Linda so if there is no Lapdock coming with Razer Phone 2 I will stay with my current phone and buy some tablet with keyboard dock.
Not the thing I wanted but still better than nothing.

Personnaly, i expect quite a bit of time before they release project Linda, because it will take quite a bit of time to gather enough money ti buy them both.

But did you hear a thing about it? Did they say that it will be released later? It was a fake from the beginning or rather a concept which they did not eant to put in life. It was supposed to bait more people.
As MKBHD said a chance that it will be released this or next year is 3/10
I just give up on this and spent money on something else.

RGB is all I wanted for a razer phone, that was the purpose when I purchased for the razer phone 1, unfortunately, its not the one. And now, everything is on the razer phone 2. I really crave it, I wish that razer will open up an opportunity, agree to take back razer phone 1 and allow the user to offset a corresponding amount of money to own razer phone 2 :big_grin_:. Because I really want to buy the razer phone 2, but I just have the razer phone 1 few months ago, and I dont know what to do with it if I have 2 razer phone. :frown_:
