Favourite movie based on a video game?
Well, I know most of them get a bad rep and a lot of things that work for the video game medium don't translate well to cinema, but we're all gamers here so we're bound to have some guilty pleasures.
For me it's Prince of Persia: Sands of time. Don't get me wrong, I like the game infinitely more and it's not a flawless movie by any means, but I feel it managed to retain enough of the spirit and narrative beats of the game to be watchable, and at times even enjoyable.

Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay. Pure masterpiece when it was released.

I liked the movie Hitman (2007). WaitingIfor the video Cassettes of the new releasing now, Hitman: Agent 47. Though reviews are bad. Liked Prince of Persia, Waiting for Assassin's Creed movie. Never liked Need For Speed, DOA or Residents Evil movies. Enjoyed Postal though it was kind a crap.

I like Warcraft, Assassin's Creed, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat '95, Tron and some others. Whether the movie is good or bad, I don't mind watching them.
