Firmware Update Bricked my Wireless USB Dongle for Razer Basilisk Ultimate

coastautoMagenta375

After a firmware update, my wireless USB dongle is no longer recognized. My mouse works when plugged in, the dock is recognized when plugged in, the Dongle will not recognize whether plugged into the mouse dock or the PC directly. The firmware update appears to have bricked my dongle.

The same problem happened to me yesterday. Any solution ?

Obviously didn’t get any support from Razer at all….
I uninstalled everything, reinstalled devices and then re-executed the firmware update.
This recognized my dongle and corrected the issue I was having.

No thanks to Razer!! Despite owning multiple Razer products, can’t say the post-purchase support is worth anything…. Very disappointed.

Hope this works for you, CiRoK!

I had this same issue happen to me within 6 months of owning the product. I have been through 3 different basilisk ultimate mice and razer failed to help me rectify the issue. Only one still works propoerly. They just spammed me with the same firmware updater. I have yet to get my dongle to work properly for my first mouse. I do not know how uninstalling everything helps a dongle that you can uninstall anything off of. The updater just hangs at 40% for me and never completes. I own several products too, but the customer service just keeps getting worse.
