Razer Huntsman V3 Pro - Input Lag and Sapm Issue

Hello,

 

Yesterday I purchased a Razer Huntsman V3 Pro. Right as I plugged in the keyboard (Wired), I came across various problems that have to do with the Input to a certain extent.

  1. If I am playing anything that has directional movement the character will always get stuck in moving a certain direction for a considerable amount of time without me interacting with the keyboard.
  2. When I type in a Text Editor or Ingame text chat the keyboard input will often lag behind. The typed text gets stuck for 1-2 seconds, and then right after everything that I have typed is suddenly being inputed without me even touching the keyboard.
  3. One thing I noticed is that the Movement issue no longer happens when I close off Synapse, but the typing issue still does.

The difficult part is that both problems happen sporadically, I can’t efficiently replicate the issue. They occur at irregular intervals and I am not so sure what can be done about it.

I have done the following:

  1. I have updated the drivers.
  2. I have updated the firmware.
  3. I have updated the bios.
  4. I swapped the USB Ports.
  5. I have uninstalled Synapse and Installed the Beta (New|Synapse4) version.
  6. I have uninstalled Synapse and reinstalled Synapse 3.

I welcome any further ideas.

I am considering returning the keyboard and getting a refund at this point. Sadly for a product which does cost a fair bit, I would’ve expected no issue alike.

I am having the same problem. When i am using more resources from my cpu, the keyboard latency is insane, while my mouse is perfectly fine. When the keyboard is bugging out, it will hold buttons down that i have already let go of seconds ago. Not sure how I could fix this but if anyone figures it out it would be appreciated!

I was going to create a new topic for my keyboard Hunstman v3 Pro. I almost had the same issues with you. What did you do? I saw no tech replied you here.

 

I bought it 4 days ago. It’s so laggy, lights stuck too much. On 1st lane it shows another color the rest have another color. And keyboard shortcuts (like ctrl + c , alt + tab etc) are not working. When i use browser crtl + r or ctrl + t doesn’t work properly. Sometimes laggy , sometimes just doesn’t work. I even wrote this really. I’m going to return it tonight. I called support services, they told me that they’ll investigate at first. Hope they have the same issues. No more razer, definitely. 

 

Snyapse app has been updated today a few hours ago.

The same thing is happening with the Wolverine V3 Pro controller I would guess it’s on the software side and an update could fix it as it’s primarily happening to me with my trigger inputs on my controller

Hi, just bought Huntsman v3 pro and I have also the same issues as mentioned above… Super frustraiting. For example during playing cities skylines 2, using WSAD button makes keyboard stuck and Im moving for 10-20 seconds in one direction and Im not touching any buttons, windows button, alt + tab is not responding…….. I bought a lot of razer stuff, but really considering changing - it is not worth money :(

Yeah, I’ve just picked up my Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 2 days ago, felt perfectly fine and worked as intended until I loaded up The Finals to play with my mates, all of a sudden my keyboard is having insane input lag, sometimes moving me around even when I hadn’t even pressed any keys.

Uninstalling Razer Synapse 4 fixed this issue completely, such a shame I have to use a software like OpenRGB in order to just have RGB lighting on my keyboard, and I miss out on features such as adjusting my actuation point or snaptap/rapid trigger.
