Razer Synapse 3 error: Failed to write installer file (Permission denied)

I have been having this issue for over a year now. I have done everything to try to fix this problem but nothing just  works. I asked Razer support about my problem and they didnt give any useful information, it was like i was trying to speak to a not fully developed AI that doesnt understand shit. So i guess you just got to wait for the new razer synapse to launch or some shit.

They need a better support fr🤦🏻‍♂️

At the end i tried and alternative, i downloaded OpenRGB and installed an extension for manage the effects. (it's basically Synapse but more easier). hope they will fix that shit anyway some day cause this error is absolutely nonsense.

Ok, so here is what worked for me:

• I extracted the Installer.exe that you download with 7Zip into a new folder on my desktop.

• Inside of that folder you will then have another Installer.exe

• Run this .exe and you can install everything per usual

For me it worked perfectly fine, just how the normal installer should. Downloads the Program and then installs it.

I already tried and didn't worked :/ it doesn't even load, sometimes it opens up the Cmd, it flashes for some seconds and then close generating the .err file

I get this: Error 1700322612K68mFHMgRazercentral_v7.15.0.675.exe Installation failed with error code: 145

Hi @BowGiulius ! Have you possibly found a solution yet? I have made a recent topic about the same issue, although there might be some minor differences in details, but the main problem is the same; Synapse is busted and cannot be reinstalled.

I have the same problem. It started today. Yesterday all was good. But now Synapse doesnt start. Downloaded file with new distributive only flashes cmd for 1 sec. Also i can not DEinstall synapse from windows control panel. Nothing happens when i try to remove it. 

At the end i changed my Local Disk to an SSD copying all the things on it without losting anything and it fixed itself. i really don’t know what it was, but now it’s working properly and since that time it never happened again (For luck).

I had to reinstall the whole OS Win11 to make synapse work again.

Had the same problem today with Razer not starting up. Deleted it and it would not install from the downloaded installer. This solved it for me thank you. And fuck Razer,  it took me 2 hours to get to this site and get an answer.

[SOLUTION] 

Trying to install Razer Synapse on my computer (Windows 11) opens up the Terminal (Shell) for a split second and disappears, sometimes a loading circle appears on my cursor, but ultimately nothing happens. 

Opening up the terminal (Shell) gives me this error text:

The shell cannot be started. A failure occurred during initialization:
The type initializer for 'System.Net.ServicePointManager' threw an exception.

[process exited with code 4294901760 (0xffff0000)]

From my - not much - understanding this is an issue caused by either a corrupt or missing machine.config file in the Config folder (C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config). Fixing this specific files requires a total reset of the computer and reinstallation of windows. I would recommend fixing this issue as soon as possible.

The Solution: Command Prompt.

To install Razer Synapse without using the terminal (Shell):

1. Copy the path of the installation file 

           (Example: C:\Users\___\Downloads\RazerSynapseInstaller_V1.19.0.635.exe)

2. Open Command Prompt from the Search (In the Taskbar)
3. Paste the path and click enter

Try disabling IPV6 your current network in network connections. It worked for me!
