I'm encountering an issue with the scroll wheel. When I attempt to scroll down, it intermittently scrolls up instead. For instance, while navigating a webpage, I'll be scrolling down to reach the bottom, but the scroll wheel will occasionally jump up a few lines before resuming its downward movement. This problem occurs regardless of the scrolling speed. Even when I scroll down one click at a time, it still exhibits the same behavior, briefly scrolling up before continuing down. Please advise

+1If you have compressed air, then spray it on the left side of the scroll (where encoder is installed) - sometimes it might help. But if not, probably scroll encoder might fail.
Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that before I posted this, I checked to see if anyone else had similar issues, and I have tried solutions like blowing into it and using compressed air, but it's still not working. I haven't tried opening the mouse yet.
+1So if you still have warranty - RMA it, if not, opening mouse is your last option.

Let me assist your with your Razer Viper 8KHz scroll wheel issue. Does the behavior happen while the Razer Synapse 3.0 is closed or disabled? If yes, then the problem could be caused by a faulty mouse driver. Let’s uninstall the mouse drivers by doing the following steps here.
