How to change reactive effect to change colour slowly instead of turning off then back on?

I realize the title may be a bit confusing, but what I mean is that when you tap a key with the reactive effect, it'll turn off the LED very briefly before switching to the same colour as the rest of the board. Is there a way to have it just change slowly? I'm not very experienced in Chroma Studio. I simply have reactive and spectrum cycling combined together.
