Marvel rivals chroma app issues

I am having trouble getting the marvel rivals chroma app listed here https://www.razer.com/chroma-workshop#--games--look--bmV0ZWFzZS9tYXJ2ZWwlMjByaXZhbHM_-_ to show up. i have launched the game several times but it does not work. additionally,  it is already listed on the workshop, but elsewhere i see that it is supposed to come out on april 18.

is the marvel rivals chroma profile currently available, or will it be available later? additionally, if it is currently available, what steps should i take to try to make it work?

The patch notes for Marvel Rivals have just been released!
Good news for customization fans: Razer Chroma is now available! To enable it, simply launch the game and go to the settings through the game launcher. Once there, you'll find the option to activate Razer Chroma and enjoy a more immersive experience with your setup.

I saw this under the FAQ, but I don’t see this option in the launcher...

How do I enable Razer Sensa HD Haptics and Chroma RGB on my Razer gear in Marvel Rivals?

First, launch and update your Razer Synapse and Razer Chroma RGB app to the latest versions. Then, run the Marvel Rivals game launcher and turn on Razer Sensa HD Haptics and Razer Chroma RGB in the settings (off by default).

yes, it is there today, however there are no lighting effects when playing as Emma Frost. Is this intentional? If so, will effects be added in the future?

I assume most of the work was done before Ema Frost was released, but I’ve noticed that I need to run Synapse as an administrator—and more importantly, it only works with Synapse 4, not 3. Have you run into the same issue?

  1. Ensure you’re using Synapse 4 or Chroma Standalone as it’s not compatible with Synapse 3.
  2. Update Rivals.
  3. In the launcher window, under experimental features, make sure Sensa/Chroma is enabled.

Once you’ve launched the software, in the Chroma app it should say “App in use: Marvel Rivals” and you should see some of the effects after log in…

If it’s not working, fully uninstall and reinstall Synapse 4 and make sure Chroma Apps is higher priority than any other profile or app. Try running Synapse 4 as Administrator, too.

So far it seems to be playing nice with iCue (Corsair) and Mystic Light (MSI), however Emma Frost causes everything to go dark, and after playing a couple matches it stops working… it’s pretty buggy right now seems like.

For now, I’m out. Synapse 4 is just way too unstable.

I recently switched to it to play Marvel Rivals, but the Studio mode doesn’t even recognize my BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard — as a result, it just stays off.

From what I’ve read, this issue has been going on for over 6 months without a fix for this keyboard.

And as for Marvel Rivals, even after trying every possible solution, it only works once out of four times.

Honestly, it feels rushed and unfinished.

It’s really disappointing, especially considering how much I paid for this keyboard. I should be able to access all its features without issues…

I can’t get it working at all and now the chroma app (reinstalled numerous times at this point) doesn’t even let me enable the “Chroma apps” section. Just gray and won’t even let me click the little thing and when it did previously, it did not pick up that I even had marvel rivals installed despite me having it open in tandem. About to just give up I’m tired of software issues.
