Hi, I'm looking at getting some light strips to put on my monitor as pseudo RPM lights (hopefully) for when I'm playing racing games and was wondering if there are other less expensive strips that work with Chroma and Synapse other than the Philips ones. Or do I have to use the Philips Hub and light strips? Also, has anyone tried doing something like this? I got the idea when playing iRacing and saw the lights on my keyboard F# bar change. Is it even possible to configure the lights like that? Any help and info is appreciated.

While maybe not officially, I would think that any 3rd party lights that pair with Hue would work. I know there are a handful. I get back to you on specifics.
