And you cant see the problem in that?? the Biggest reason and for most people the only reason to buy the HDK over some other led controller, is that with this you can control your chroma device from one place and sync the lighting.. like the they say in they own advertising. But you cant do that.. It cant sync chroma devises, and you still need two programs to handle your lights..!!


It's annoying because they call it the Chroma Hardware Development Kit, so it drums up the notion that it shouldn't be for regular users. The hardware is done, but the software isn't. Except, they don't advertise it like that. The page advertises it like a regular product that should be good to go already. The page gives you a direct link to the Synapse 3 download, but doesn't say anything about the status of the software other than that it's in beta. They even removed the info about what products work with Synapse 3 from the Synapse 3 page.

To the Other people saying the software is in beta and so on.. shut it.. thats not the problem..
and it is no problem that it only supports the lancehead.. The problem is that they are selling HDK as a finished product, Please tell me where on the HDK page, it says anything about only supporting some chroma devices??
The only thing saying something about beta, is download synapse 3 beta.. it does not state that it only works with the beta.. but fair enogh, then go to the beta page.. and then tell me where is states that only works with the lancehead..

SO back to the problem.. they are selling, a finished product, the HDK.. and saying that you can control all your chroma devices, and sync them.. when in reality you can only do it with the lancehead.. and yes im am all so sure that in the future the other chroma devices will be added, or I hope so.. But they are not telling you that you can only do it with the lancehead at the moment.. In my eyes either this is a MAJOR amateur mistake, or they are misleading people on purpose to sell more.. and I dont like non of the two options.. thats why im so disappointed..

And I leaning towards they just want to sell and dont care, because they have not made any change on non of the sites fixing the problem. its more than a week ago now, that I was told the they dev team and webdevs got this information.. and as I dev my self, I know how fast this could be fixed.

I just got a 110mb update to synapse 3 beta.. any body know whats it was, and were to see patch notes or changelog??

I bought it, and is SO DISAPPOINTED..!! It is not writen any where, I just found out when I installed it, at it does not work..!!


Wait... the Razer support told me that it is compatible with all my Razer products.... so that was a lie ? 😞

And thats why I keep bitching about this.. Because I feeling this is so disappointing. I thought Razer was better then this.. and still no warning on either HDK or synapse 3 pages.. I guess that confirms that they dont care.

Yeah.. I understand your feelings of happyness.. I was just unlucky, that I bought on release.. and then first afterwards found out, that it dosnt work with any of my gear.. -.-

Well.. it shouldn't be a problem to use Synapse 2 and 3 (beta) simultaneously.. I get synapse 3 doesn't support all devices yet, but atleast i can configure the HDK seperately within Synapse 3

All the light look good but I'm not sure. The keyboard is useful and the mouse but other lights are a distraction or just no noticed.

Wow, that set-up is totally awesome! All the colors! Everything lights up like a Christmas tree, but better. Razer just took the lead in chroma integration IMO.

Considering that no other company makes Chroma products, I'd say they have always been in the lead. Did you mean they took the lead in RGB?
