Razer Taichi x570 motherboard and ARGB connected device is out of sync

Hey all,

I’m using Razer Taichi X570 motherboard and have a graphics card connected via ARGB. I can set static or other effects via chroma with no issues, and sync is working OK.

But since the last update (the issue still persists on the current one too) if you run a game with a profile like Diable 3 or Cyberpunk 2077, the profile is not working for the motherboard LED and connected ARGB device, so it keeps the old effect (static in my case), while all other components are changing color perfectly fine. As far as I recall it was working a few months ago.

Any ideas on how to fix this or report it as an issue?

Thanks!

Ain't no way that is a synapse problem DUDE, I RMA MY MOTHERBOARD FOR THAT (and i had another issue with the RGB in bios was not responding, they said “the problem did not happen to them when tested” and they sent it back) same issue is happening in Hunt Showdown and Opera GX.

Did you contact them in a specific way I can use? If you get anything, please share it in this thread. Thanks!

so after ttalking to razer and doing some suggested diag they determined its a hardware issue i contacted asrock and they confirmed hardware issue as well so an rma is in process on my board

I’m pretty sure that it stopped working after one of the software updates. The issue is related to chroma profiles for games. if you configure RGB manually it works perfectly fine. How did you contact razer so I can use the same channel? Thanks!

i just went to the support page and did live chat explaining the problem and they escalated it to there senior techs

If it is hardware issue how can so many people have the same problem at the same time, that is software issue 100% not a long time ago i had a problem with that board in synape it did not show in the “studio” since is not the first time.

I have exactly the same problem as discussed here.

Tested with Diablo IV and Cyberpunk.

A couple of months ago it didn't happen.
My motherboard is a Taichi Z690.

I doubt very much that it's a hardware problem.

Well, found out my bios problem with RGB not responding in there, broken riser cable not making contacts properly and after taking out the vertical mount out I had 0 issues with that, and I almost changed my PSU.

With the problem that all of us experience now with chroma connect, that is software issue because it works normal in synapse, I can change the lights on it normally other RGB control apps works fine for me (Open and Signal)

Yes yes, that is:
All other things work fine, sync effects on desktop, etc...
It's only when the games have native RGB Sync support, like Diablo IV or Cyberpunk... then it stops working.
It has to be a software problem for sure.

Yep that is synapse issue, at the moment I have installed 2 apps that use this feature Hunt showdown and Opera Gx (Opera as a secondary browser, as main I’m useing firefox)

Looks like they fixed it in the most recent version of the software. Try to update it, reboot and check again with your game profiles. Worked for me.
