Hi, I am having a problem where when I open the KeyboardVisualizerVC program, it just crashes as soon as it opens and prompts me to close the program :/ I have downloaded everything and used the x86 redist. Any help?
I am having the same issue. Did you ever get it to work?

Super cool. Finally have this working on the Blackwidow Tournament Edition after months of wanting to use it. Thanks so much, CalcProgrammer1!

Does anyone know how long we'll have to wait for this to be compatible with all the others Chroma devices?

I've downloaded and installed all on the instructions including the new version of the VC 1.05 but when I open the program nothing happens my BW TE would still continue on its spectrum cycling.

Nice, I wonder how the lights would look like if I play Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. Thank you Razer.

It currently supports: * Blackwidow Chroma * Blackwidow Chroma Tournament Edition * Mamba Chroma Tournament Edition * Firefly Chroma It will soon support: * DeathAdder Chroma (issue with SDK is holding it back) * Kraken 7.1 Chroma (mine looks to be arriving Tuesday) I've been in talks with Razer about getting these devices to also support: * Tartarus Chroma * Orbweaver Chroma * Deathstalker Chroma (not sure on this one due to lighting zones) The SDK lacks support for wireless devices (and thus I cannot support right now): * Mamba Chroma * Naga Epic Chroma

I tried to do this, the program worked fine, I shut down Synapse, installed everything, and opened the program. I see the visualizer in the window, but nothing happens to my keyboard. I restart the program in administrator as well and that did not fix it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Okay , thanks.;);) Do you have an idea of how much it'll take to solve the problem with the Deathadder?

I had the DeathAdder flashing to music yesterday, but it seems to have a low update rate and a delay between the wheel and logo LEDs. Also, after 10-30 minutes of use it would lock up completely. Still have some issues there.

This was a really cool idea. Gave me the final nudge towards the Firefly purchase.

I think it might be a little bug or something, but with the BlackWidow TE Chroma, the lights to the far left (the bass area) are lit at least 50% more than the rest of the keyboard. I played the video from the first page with the visualizer enabled to see the comparison, and the bass area for the keyboard I'm using is maxed out while the bass area in the video is around the same level as the mid-high freq areas. (I don't know, it might be my sound card or something if its not a bug)

Alright, i dont know if it was just the kind of music i was listening to, but when i play the game Osu, its all leveled. So there's probably no bug.

Maybe you should up the amplitude, dont be afraid to put it on 2000 you must be able to see something then. If you want the exact same specs as on the vid you should check the FAQ

Let your Razer Chroma-enabled devices rock to your beats with the beta Audio Visualizer, developed on the latest Razer Chroma SDK 4.8. Fire off the colors not just on your Razer BlackWidow Chroma, but also on the newly supported Razer Mamba TE & Razer Firefly! We’ll let the video du-du-du-du-do the showing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzX_puEu9u0 We really appreciate all the work our community developers have put in to push the potential of the Razer Chroma technology and our friend @CalcProgrammer1 has really done a solid job on the Audio Visualizer. This new Audio Visualizer gives you the freedom to customize the color scheme and tweak its amplitude so you are only limited by your own creativity. Did we mention it’ll not just react to your music, but also to game audio? Here’s how to get the fun started:
  • Download and install ‘Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015’ from Microsoft. Choose the vc_redist.x86.exe version
  • Download the SDK Installers and install the "SDK Core Files".
  • From the same download in (2), extract ‘Razer_Chroma_SDK_Documentation_Beta4.8.zip’ to any location.
    • Locate the file ‘Enable SDK Support.reg’ in the folder.
    • Run the x64/x86 for 64bit/32bit computers.
  • Download and run the Audio Visualizer.
(This is an early build so please pardon the manual processes – we’ll improve on this). Have a go at it and show us what you are doing with your Chroma hardware. Useful links: FAQs: To those facing the "mfc140.dll is missing" issue Download the Visual Studio Redistributable version "vc_redist.x86.exe" As this is a very early build, it clashes with Advanced Configurator occasionally. Change your effects to the default ones e.g. Wave, Spectrum Cycling. You can then launch the application and your keyboard/mousemat/mice will show a blank slate until a sound is played. What products does it work with? *EDIT* It works with the Blackwidow Chroma, Firefly and the Mamba TE. The Blackwidow TE, Deathadder Chroma and Kraken 7.1 Chroma are not supported FOR NOW. However, we will see them in the future! This is still an early build so hang on tight while more product support is being added in. The visualizer bars are really low, anyway to fix that? You can bump the bar's height up by increasing the amplitude or your volume (not too much please). How do I get the colours like the ones in the video? Adjust "Foreground Mode" to the colour scheme that you like. In the video, I used "Rainbow Inverse". You can also add a "Background Mode" should you like. Does it react to any sounds besides music? It takes your Windows sound input, hence any sound - including your games or movies! Do I have to turn off Synapse? Closing Synapse before launching the app will be the safest. Keyboard goes black but it does not react to any audio As the program is reliant on some limited functions by Windows, be sure that your volume is cranked up or adjust the "Amplitude" to a higher value (Try in the 500s or 1000s) I can't get it to work due to misc reasons that we have yet to identify I apologize for this, this was meant to be a beta build and I shared it earlier as I knew the video will get you guys psyched for the app! We are using your feedbacks to build a better experience. While it may be tedious right now, we WILL be reducing the steps and processes in due time with Synapse and etc. That is on top of more product support. Hang in there!
Its A.W.E.S.O.M.E if you get it right, people should just do exactly what says in the discription. Works great even without the mousepad.

Just got my Kraken Chroma today, so I'll be looking into adding it tonight. Still trying to decide on a good way to do single LED (or multiple ways that you could switch between).

If you're having this problem, you didn't install the SDK correctly. Run the installer and then run the x64 and x86 .reg files from the documentation zip. If you don't run these .reg files the SDK will not work! Reboot after this to make sure Synapse and the SDK get started up properly. It seems way too many people are skipping the .reg files step and ending up with the no lights problem. I'm pretty sure you need to run the x86 .reg even on a 64 bit machine, as my app is a 32 bit app and uses 32 bit libraries even on 64 bit PCs/OSes.

It works now, i don't know why but i love it!
