It's saying RzChromaSDK.dll is missing. "Error opening file for writing: "C/WINDOWS/System32/RzChromaSDK.dll"
Nevermind, i just repeated the steps and that was fixed

I wrote it using Windows 7 originally then upgraded to 10. It works in Windows 10. You need the 32 bit redistributable even if you're using a 64 bit Windows. Only works for Blackwidow Chroma, Mamba TE, and Firefly right now.

I don't know why, but it's not working for even the Firefly, the only compatible device i have.

Oh yeah the app is called Keyboard Visualizer, which i DL'd from the link, is this the right app im using?

Yeah, it should work with the Firefly. If you change background mode to Rainbow or Original does the Firefly light up? It should follow what is in the preview color-wise. The top two pixel rows of the preview show the visualizer used for the mouse and mousepad LED strips. It represents bass frequencies, anything with a hard bass drum hit should cause it to jump up with the beat.

I have everything installed properly but when I close Synaspe and open the Keyboard Visualizer it nothing on the keyboard lights up. Even if I turn up the volume or the amplify. What do I do?

It's borked for me, gives me the vcredist errors. Too bad I can't download the latest version of it (MS's site doesn't download it). I'm trying to run it off the 2013 version. Fixed*

Two questions about this (sorry if they were answered before): 1. Does this work with Black Widow Chroma Stealth? 2. If the audio is outputting to headphones, do you still see the visualizer on the keyboard?

So I have the Blackwidow Chroma and got everything installed and opened the Visualizer, however, the program doesn't actually end up applying itself to the keyboard when i press enter (and yes i do have the amplitude up high enough). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got it working on my Firefly and Mamba TE, but not my Blackwidow TE Chroma. The Blackwidow just flickers briefly when I start the Keyboard Visualizer and then resets to the normal color configuration. Any suggestions?

Nope it does not work with the Tournament Edition Chroma at all. All I get is a blanked out Keyboard, and my Chroma Kraken's lights stop working. It also has no effect on the Naga Epic Chroma, and it should work for all three of these. Thanks for getting our hopes up Razer(tm) now fix it ASAP.

Ok i am soooo lost on how to get this all to work. i have everything installed and running but when i have the visualizer running and music blasting it didnt do anything with the razer synapse running or closed. i am a full on noob at stuff like this soooo anyone care to help? EDIT!!!! ok so i randomly re started my computer and tried again and everything works fine!!!! after you download and install everything just restart the pc and give it a shot. ALSO NOTE that i am using the blackwidow chroma and having no problems.

Only works on the right half if u have razer surround pro =(.

ToxicSquirrelX
Attention. Will not work if you are using virtual surround software. atleast it didnt for me until i turned off surround sound pro. tried setting realtek HD audio manager to 5.1. It also made the keyboard only light up on the right side.

I only can really support what I have, and what I have is Blackwidow Chroma, Mamba TE, Naga Epic Chroma, and Firefly. I know the SDK does not support the Naga Epic Chroma at all (Razer told me its update rate is too slow, still though, I'd like to at least show the background color on it which would be fine with slow update). I'm not sure what the mapping on the TE is, probably different as it is missing some keys which would mean it needs different scaling. Kraken AFAIK only has one LED per side, so it wouldn't really work for visualizer anyways but it could show the background.
