Synapse 4 / Chroma Startup

Hi All,

Not sure if this should be in Synapse 4, support or Chroma forums, but I’ll start here.

 

Have moved to synapse 4, and am having some issues.  Not sure if its me or the software.  Before I revert back to 3, which was working fine.  Checking in here for any solution

 

Basically, when starting up - my Govee integration with chroma doesn’t trigger, until I launch chroma manually, and then it always defaults to “spectrum cycle”, which I want it set to “static”

 

Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

 

Synapse doesn’t appear to save my light settings properly either.  I have everything set to “wave”, and while it does wave, its not the same wave as if i manually set wave if that makes any sense?  Its like all the LEDS in the fans are not being detected.

Anyway, anyone have any thoughts or similar issues (and suggested fixes) before I revert back to Synapse 3, which was working perfectly…..

    I think this might be a software issue between the govee plug-in and the chroma services.

    I cannot get Govee to connect to chroma or synapse4 at all… I get this message “Make sure Razer Synapse with the chroma connect and chroma studio modules has been installed. Restart govee desktop and retry”

    same issue for me. Switched to synapse 4 and Govee gives me the same issue. Also my Razer firefly v2 pro mat is not being detected.  Going back to Synapse 3 and everything works fine.

    Razer put updates very silent in app and I have the same problem.

    I have MSI Center because I have MSI graphic card and mainboard + lexar ram with rgb and I also need to manually open the Chroma app to start lights working.

    There is some problem with the Chroma App.

    Also I notice that the keyboard Huntsman Elite trigger lights very slow when I start game. Sometimes from time to time lights on keyboard strobe once for short time or changes effects from desktop profile to game which actually is turned on.

    Never before has an app as botched as this one been possible.

    Just create ticket to support and keep spamming them with the proofs. Maybe DEV team stop drinking during the work.
