zones or groups of 3rd party devices

So, I have a couple of LIFx bulbs and was able to use the connector program to control them with chroma studio. However, they are all a single object in studio. How do I go about separating each bulb into a different object? I thought the "zone 1, 2, 3, 4" thing in the connector program would do it, but no such luck.
