Joining in the Squad?! How does this work?

I am very wondering how this works, and super new at this. How do I join in? Do I just play a certain game that supports, if so than how do i know i am already in? Can someone help me please?

Hey there!

 

Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us via this thread. My name is Michelle, and I’m part of the Razer Cortex tchnical support team. I am delighted to answer your questions. 

 

When the Squad Rewards campaign starts, you can join it by going to the “REWARDS” > “SQUAD REWARDS”, and clicking the JOIN button to participate.

 

Squad Rewards has three periods:

  1. Pre-season: usually 2 weeks. During this period,  you can join it and squad up with friends.
  2. Competing: usually 2 weeks. During this period, you can play the supported games with your squads members to win gameplay hours. There are prizes in the pool. Each prize will require a certain number of gameplay hours. The squad leader can redeem prizes by exchanging the required amount of gameplay time for each prize. Each prize only comes at a limited quantity, first-come-first-serve basis.
  3. Post-season: Vote to Win Event and Game Key Giveaway, the time depends. In order to provide more value to our users, we will have post-season campaigns for users who have leftover gameplay hours to claim prizes. 

If you are already in, you will see your squad, your gameplay time, leaderboard, and all other information of this campaign.

Yes, you can join yourself. But if you want to win big prizes, you need to invite others to join. Each squad will have up to 4 members. So, you need to invite the other 3 to join your squad.

Is there a section i can find a group to join in?

There are several ways to squad up. You can add your discord server or find members on official Razer Discord channel, or send invite links to your friends, or join an existing squad via leaderboard. These all canbe seen on your campaign page.

 

We strongly suggest inviting friends on official Razer Discord channel: https://discord.com/invite/razer. You can communicate with your squad members and tell the leader which prize your squad want to claim. Once your squad gameplay hours reach the required gameplay hours, your squad leader can claim the prize right now.
