It should ask every time for connected device is it headset or headset with microphone.

its the blackshark v2 x headset , i can hear sounds just fine but the micro input it uses is the integrated laptop 1 it dosnt have any reads on the headset mic
it never asked for connected devices as this headset doesn't have integrated sound board and i think my drivers are all up to date

So check the RealtekHD audio app settings, because Realtek app should ask every time for connected device. If it’s not asking, then mostly it default to headset without microphone, that’s why it’s not working.
Don’t think, check if you have the newest available drivers & Realtek app:)
