Hi,
I have a 2019 Blade Adv with 4K + 2080 rtx. A few days ago, the Type-C port decided to go jank.
I have a Type-C UGREEN usb hub (Link) and it has 1 keyboard, 1x blueyeti, and a monitor hooked up via HDMI to it. It was working great. Then suddenly, the video stopped outputting as a 2nd monitor. I changed the cable, and tested the hub on my Macbook Pro; the hub worked and was working just fine.
I then purchased a CALDIGIT TS3+ and used mini display (from monitor) to display port on the Caldigit, to type-C on the Blade, and it did NOT work.
I then tried the HDMI to HDMI on the UGREEN hub, then plugged that into the CALDIGIT TS3+, then the caldigit ts3+ plugged into the laptop's type-C port ; it worked.
What is going on? I reinstalled thunderbolt drivers, and the latest nvidia drivers. Really unsure what the heck is going on.
Any insight?

Also HDMI to direct HDMI on the laptop works, but this is besides the point - I'd like to be able to just plug 1 cable in.
