Hey there!
(Item # in question: RZ09-03295E42)
I have done a search and not found anything... so I thought I would ask here. I've even watched a few videos on upgrading SSDs in Razer Blades and didn't notice this thing on the ones I've seen...
My Blade Pro 17 has, in its blank SSD slot, a rather thick spongy black pad affixed to the MB. It doesn't block the port for connecting an SSD, its dimensions are smaller length-width than an SSD card would be. I haven't removed the screw in the stock SSD, which I intend to leave as the boot drive, so I don't know if the SSD over there is squashing a pad on that side.
Do people know what I'm talking about? Does that come off, meaning should I peel it off, or leave it and let the SSD card squish it?
Thanks. Noob question, I know.
Stuart
