7.1 Surround On Multiple Computers? | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I have purchased two Kraken 7.1 headsets, one for each of my children. I created one Razer account and loaded the software on both computers. I activated one of the headsets for 7.1 surround but it did not ask me to activate the second one. Only one headset can have the 7.1 on at the same time.

My question is, what is the workaround to have 7.1 turned on, for both headsets? Do I need to make a second Razer account and use that bogus account on one of the computers? If I activate the headset can I then use the same account on both computers? Not sure how Razer missed this.

Once activated, the code is bound to your Razer ID account.

On 2nd PC you’ll have to close the activation window and just login to your Razer ID account.

To make sure I understand this correctly, if you bought five headsets, you would be required to create five Razer ID accounts in order to activate all five headsets? On each computer do they have to use the account that activated it? I’m not sure Razer thought this all the way through.

Can a computer be logged into Synapse with a real Razer ID account and also logged into the 7.1 surround app with one of the faux-razer-id accounts? It seems like they would share the login.

Same problem here, how did you solved this?

I have multiple headsets too plugged on multiple PCs, and can’t turn on 7.1 at the same time. It says one session at a time or something like that.

You have your answer “one session at a time”.

If you have multiple Razer headsets with 7.1 Surround, create another Razer ID account, apply 7.1 code, and you can use on both PC (different razer accounts).
