7.1 Surround Sound activation code not working

Hi! I've seen a few of these threads but they seem to be locked out for comments. I have a Kraken X, registered the product, tried the code. No luck - says it's invalid. No issues with the box, not previously opened, I personally scratched off the code's covering. Any fix for this?
