7.1 surround sound code impossible to see

Hello, I just bought the blackshark v2 x headset and when I tried to see the code printed on the card, I found that the scratch tape is barely impossible to take out and when I applied more pression I accidentaly took off some digits. What can I do now?

      I over-scratched the activation code, and followed the step from support.I provided everything requested,receipt included but it give me this in the end: "The 7.1 Surround Sound code for this model is not available, please click here to contact customer support." How can this be when i have the soft installed and an over-scratch card for it???
