7.1 surround sound isn't working on Razer Kraken X Lite

I’ve already ran through the support articles and done the steps (setting the 7.1 speakers as default, checking for a supported default on my headset, etc.) and still whenever I even boot up my computer, it just makes no sound whatsoever unless I change it off from the 7.1 surround sound. Is there a possible way to fix this?
