7.1 surrounding sound problem

just bought the razer kraken TE edition and i have a problem with the surrounding sound app it basically says but the thing is that its the only app that isn't working everything else (like the razer synapse itself) detects my headphones and that's the only app that doesn't but i would like to fix this and get the full razer experience.
