I have my 2020 Blade 15 Advance with rtx2070 max q. I upgraded the nvme to Samsung 1TB eval plus and ram to the Crucial 32GB Ballistix.
Had the laptop for close to 2 weeks and overall my experience with it has been good. Though reading the forums and reddit post complain about RMA's and QC issues got me worried. So below are a few odd/weird things that have happened and happens all the time:
- 2x the laptop would go to sleep and have not waken up. I see the colors on the keyboard, my mouse and gaming keyboard lights up upon clicking on it and mouse, but the laptop don't seem to wake up. This has happened twice in the two weeks I've had it, so it could be a Windows thing. BUT, I have noticed the times I wake it up from sleep, it is not instant, it takes a few seconds before waking up.
- This happens with waking from sleep, or when the monitor turns off from 10min of inactivity, the apps ie Chrome, Outlook is all pixilated. I have to select the app, then with the mouse run over the pixelated section and it clears up. Looks like a iGPU issue or could it Nvidia's optum(forgot whats its called while writing but it decides on the iGPU and dGPU?) not refreshing?
Any thoughts and fix for this?
