Recently my Abyssus v2 has stopped working, hence why i am here lol.
in the months leading up to when it broke, occasionally the mouse would malfunction and stop moving for a few seconds. to circumvent this i would jostle around the mouse and usually it would fix the problem.
The problem progressed further as sometimes i would be unable to get the mouse to work again by messing with it, and eventually it just stopped working altogether.
When i plug in the mouse, the lights still breathe and cycle between green blue and cyan, however the mouse is not recognized by Razer Synapse nor by my own computer.
Here are the things i've tried that have not worked so far:
Swapping USB ports
Booting my computer in safe mode
Resetting systems management controller
Resetting VRAM
Updating my OS
Plugging the mouse into different Windows and Mac computers
Running first aid and cleaning my USB ports (they're fine)
The most notable however was that replacing the USB cable with a new one didn't solve the problem either
because other mice work on this computer, this is almost certainly a hardware problem, likely within the PCB of the mouse itself. There may be a problem within the USB header of the mouse which is not transporting input data correctly. I don't know enough to fix it myself though.
I've run out of ideas on how to fix this.
