activation code invalid in a freshly opened headset box

i just made a purchase of the Razer Kraken TE from a Retailer , the box was sealed with the razer seal etc i scratch and reveal the code and put it into surround 7.1 software and it say activation code is invalid how is this possible?

    That is odd. Do you mind sending me a screenshot of the error message along with the serial number of your headset via PM?
