Aduio Crackles and driver issue with Kraken 7.1 Chroma

Hi guys, So i have been using my Kraken for several years now with no issues but recently it seems that when playing games i get audio crackles, most notacibly from the voice chat (useally steam chat) and the game itself only crackles a little bit... This will come and go so it will sound fine (voice and game) for 30mins then for 5mins i get crackles... Also i have noticed that while both windows and synapse regocnise the kraken, windows is using a microsoft driver for it, not a razer driver - but when i try and reinstall the drivers i get an error https://imgur.com/UFPRFUU and it wont install. I have reinstalled synapse and that did not help... I also tried using a different USB port and again that made no difference... Thanks for any help
