AMD RX 7800 XT not recognised on PC in the Razer Core X Chroma | Razer Insider

Hi all, I have an issue with connecting up an RX 7800 XT through the Core X Chroma to my Minisforum HX77G PC.

Specs as below:

  • Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU
  • 32GB 4800 MHz RAM
  • ATI AMD Radeon RX 6600M 8176MB
  • ATI AMD Radeon Graphics 512MB

The specification for my PC states that it is compatible. So i recently purchased a Razer Core X Chroma eGPU enclosure, with an AMD RX 7800 XT. Both of which seem to be compatible based on successful usage on online forums.

However when i plug in the eGPU into one of the 2 USB4 ports using a Thunderbolt 3 cable, the eGPU powers up, as so does the 7800 XT. However after the computer reaches the desktop of Windows 11, the GPU light and fans turn off. So this looks like the GPU is turning off while the eGPU enclosure is still running with it's RGB lighting and single fan.

The PC will also not detect the RX 7800 XT GPU.

I have tried the following:
 - Plugged the eGPU into a different power outlet.
 - Used a different Thunderbolt 3 cable.
 - Used a USB4 cable.
 - Removed the GPU and reseated, and reconnected to power.
 - Powered off the HX77G, connected to eGPU, then powered back on.

Nothing has worked so far.

I am also receiving this alert in the Device Manager but i don't know what it means.
"PCI Express Root Port"

"This device is currently waiting on another device or set of devices to start. (Code 51)

Dependencies:
ACPI\PNP0A08\0
USB4@#_SB_.PCI0.GP19.NHI0"

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
