Any fix for stuck D-pad on Wolverine V3 Pro?

Just had it bought for me for my birthday 2 days ago from Amazon. I updated the firmaware right out the box, so it is up to date. Worked fine till yesterday night when the d-pad started acting up while gaming on my xbox.

Then connected it to my pc and encountering same issue for both wireless and wired connection. Multiple system restarts and hard controller resets later (w/cable plugin and out shennanigans), the issue persists.

The gamepad tester I ran reads that the D-pad up is constantly being actuated without any inputs from me. It's not physically stuck from what I can see and feel. However, would sometimes became normal if I held dpad down for long enough (gamepad tester read everthing normal as well) before going back to being stuck after a hour on all my systems I tried. The app is no help.

Perhaps a software issue or is it a defect? Anyone know a fix?

I just got my Wolverine V3 Pro as well, and the left arrow on my D pad is constantly being activated. Before that there were other weird issues, like the dpad always actuating twice when pressed once. After some restarts etc. the first problem remains. My last Razer controller also had a weird problem I didn't expect to see a pattern with their controllers. If you find a fix, please let me know.

This is my very first Razer and third-party controller, so I'm not familiar with this kind of thing. I peviosly just bought a new regular xbox controller when the stick drift got bad on them.

To answer your question:

The only consistent way I have found to fixing the d-pad issue once it happens (which is often times after a hour of it working fine) was hard reseting the controller through the buttons shrotcut and restarting my xbox or PC then turning them off. I don't know how this works but, one hour later I would use them again, then BOOM -- problem was gone.

So I have a controller that breaks and fixes itself, somewhat, every other hour.

Crazy right? And not very convenient or fun.

We're going to try to get a replacement by sending it back to Amazon.

Yeah I bought mine back In November and am starting to have this exact issue repeatedly occurring as of a week ago.

Having the exact issue from the very moment I first turned on the controller - constantly triggering the left D-Pad, which also means the right D-Pad input doesn’t work at all. Firmware up to date, factory reset doesn’t help. Very likely a hardware issue.

Ordered a replacement from Amazon, hoping that one doesn’t have any out-of-box issues.

On mine I have the M5 paddle which get stuck randomly, I have to press it in order to have the button popping back, very annoying especially considering the price of this controler  :  /

Really hope there is a firmware update to resolve this soon.  Lot of money for a controller to not have simple function not work properly.

It took about 2 or 3 weeks for this problem to happen on my new controller as well. I was really looking forward to this controller but as of right now its basically useless. It also conveniently started acting up right after the return window so i cant even return it.

New controller from Amazon, used 30 minutes before started having the same issue except for it being Dpad up.

fairly certain it is a hardware issue and nothing to do with the software (at least in my case)

Factory reset, computer reset, wired/wireless, firmware re-update all had no effect.

Opened a ticket with Razor support, will report back with what they say.

In the meantime, I disabled the dpad and reassigned to the back buttons.

Ah never mind the software doesn't let me do that…
