Barracuda X (2022) dongle suddenly stopped working

Bought Barracuda X (2022) a couple of months ago. Dongle worked fine but then suddenly stopped. Through the USB-A adapter it works like a charm and when I plug it in my smartphone. Doesn’t work in the USB-C port on my laptop (port is fine, I checked). 

I updated the firmware just when I bought the headset. I can’t redo it, because you need to connect the dongle.

I have a Razer Barracuda X 2022 headset that I bought at the end of 2022. Recently, from one day to the next, it stopped connecting to the dongle on my laptop, phone and playstation 5.. My laptop and phone can recognize the dongle, but the headphones never connect for audio output, while the green led first blinks and then stays on. I have already tried connecting them via cable and Bluetooth and the headphones work fine, but my problem is with the dongle. When I connect them, the system recognizes them, but they never connect.

I tried the pairing utility and the firmware update tool on 2 different Windows 10 laptops. Although the dongle is recognized as ‘ other device’  by Windows 10, the Razer firmware update tool keeps saying I have to unplug it and the replug. Upon replugging, I see the Firmware updat tool refreshing for a second to show the firmware version and then saying I have to uplug and replug the dongle again. It is so fast that I can not take a glimb of what version is shown…

I see another user in the support section that has the exact same problem.
