I’ve had the new Razer Barracuda X Chroma for a couple of weeks now. It’s mostly been great, but there is some kind of bug when switching between BT/PC.
This happens everytime after having used the headseat with bluetooth, then switching over to dongle.
The headset starts turning off/on by itself. You can hear “Power on” every 1-5 minutes, then the power button blinks for 10 seconds then it goes black (without hearing “Power off”).
Sometimes it also starts pairing (says “Pairing” and blinks blue) after having turned on. Then it blinks blue for a couple of minutes and turns off.
When it gets into this power cycling mode, it’s sometimes hard to get it out of that state. Often it works when I hold the power button for 10-15 seconds, then I can start it up again and it works.
Sometimes it’s been in the power cycling state and I’ve left it overnight - and it still kept doing it when I checked it the following day.
I don’t see any new firmware available, am on 1.0.9.0.
I have tried a factory reset, and it seemed to work first. Then I paired my phone and after that it happens the same after switching from BT->PC.
Is it a faulty device that I should replace at my retailer?
