Basalisk X Hyperspeed Firmware Updater Not Updating

I’m just writing a thread, just in case the PM I sent as instructed in this other thread

Doesn’t lead to anything.

But it’s basically the exact same issue.  I’ve left it running for hours upon hours (overnight until the next afternoon/ afterwork and the updater still says 0% and no sign of making any progress.)

I’m kind of frustrated because the mouse seems to disconnect every 2 or 3 minutes I’ll be playing a game then I can’t move my cursor for 30 or 40 seconds before it finally “reconnects” and starts to work again.  Granted it’s connected via USB and the ports work for everything else. It appears to be just the mouse that’s choosing to not cooperate.

Please advise what should be done.
I can provide the mouse’s SN# via PM if needed like stated in the Thread I mentioned above.

My Basalisk Hyperspeed just stopped connecting to the dongle today, found this thread and many others.  My issues is that I’ve launched the Firmware Updater, I plug in the dongle and the computer recongizes it.  The green “Update” button goes from grey to bright green… but it will not acknowledge I am clicking the button.  Tried doing it from different USB ports, and relaunching the app, restarting the laptop.  Same problem.

I hade min for about 2 years, and I been fighting this sins day one. Windows “Bleps” and  connection is lost. Then it “Blep” again and Windows say “Balilisk X Hyperspeed connected. This keep happening forever every 5 min.
Trying too Update Firmwere. The Basilisk X Hyperspeed Updater detects the USB dongle but DOES NOT tell current version, but say “Latest Version is 1.02.00_r2. and “A Update is a required”
Now the “UPDATE” button shift too Green and you can press it. Screen shift too update bar and STOPS at 0%.
I send screenshots and explanations on the pictures, why I could not update. To RAZORs Support. But the Support people did NOT border to read it and did the normal runaround.  They answered “Please update your product and contact us after.”  Why do they think I send all that stuff to them???

From what I found out it seems that the installer, make a catalog “C:\Users\”C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX0” here it runs a another .EXE “BasiliskXHyperSpeedCustomerFWU.exe”

There is also the BootLoader in “C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX0\BootLoader\Win10\i386”

and this might be some of the problem, the file “DPInst_x86.exe” will not run on a 64-bit system. It crashes and say “Please get a x64 version of the file from the dealer.”
