Basilisk mouse will not charge while the PC is switched off
Hello, so I've noticed that my mouse will not charge up when the PC is switched off. Is this intended because it defeats the purpose of having a Wireless mouse (I want it available when I'm using the computer and charging when I'm not).
I have a feeling I know what the problem is though. I have an ASUS ROG Crosshair Hero VIII motherboard and when I got the machine, I noticed that the RGB lights on the motherboard would not switch off when my computer was turned off. Because of that I found a setting in the BIOS to make the lights turn off but I have a feeling that that same function also turns off all power to peripherals at the same time.
So is my only option to turn that function back on on the motherboard and have a load of lights in my computer when I'm trying to sleep?
Also as a side issue, I was using the mouse all day on Tuesday and the battery went from 80% down to 22% in an 8 hour session. The mouse is supposed to have a 100hr battery life so this felt pretty quick. Is this normal?
Thanks
