I have read other threads and no solution or fix worked for me. I verified the plug is securely inserted, the usb port is 2.0 or higher(multiple were tried), and I have updated the drivers and firmware.
I have only had the mouse for a few months maybe and it did use to work with or without the cable. I was in a game and it said the battery was low and so when i plugged it in it just stopped working. It also decided to install some type of update immediately so i let it finish expecting it to start working again after the update.
