Basilisk V3 Pro won't install driver / won't synapse | Razer Insider

Purchased a the brand new $160 basilisk v3 pro to replace my highly used ultimate. Had it for a day before the wireless stopped working altogether and then when i did get it to work it hiccuped over and over again. I followed all of the trouble shooting procedures on the website including uninstalling the drivers.

NOW: The mouse driver WILL NOT REINSTALL. No matter what I do i cannot get the original mouse driver to install and it forever sees my mouse as a keyboard. Since the mouse driver won't install synapse won't recognize the mouse even exists. It doesn't matter if i plug the mouse in via cable or attempt to use the 2.4gz wireless.

I moved to my laptop and found that it installed the drivers just fine VIA a bluetooth connection. After the driver was installed it would read the mouse just fine via wireless and direct connect.

How on earth do i find the original driver to get my brand new mouse to work on my gaming PC again or are there other solutions? Uninstalling every driver on my mouse / keyboard did not work. It perpetually reinstalls as a keyboard and the wireless dongle cuts in and out ever 15 seconds. I've spent the last 4 hours trying to troubleshoot this and i give up.
ordered a bluetooth dongle for my PC and will see if that fixes any known issues. I'm really sad because I really like the mouse. The bluetooth worked on my laptop and enabled me to install the driver. Hopefully this will do the same for my desktop. I have the wireless charging station on the way and am going to be upset if i end up having to return like 220$ worth of stuff. :\\
Update: Bluetooth dongle came in. My desktop PC will pick up, discover the mouse, and have a driver installed when using it via blue tooth. Even after hooking it up using bluetooth if i try to directly connect it to my PC with a cable it won't show up.

Would definitely love some help from tech services.
Hi Keba101,

Please PM me the serial number of your mouse so I can validate its model and look for other steps to help you resolve its driver issue. I may also need to start a case and forward your concern to the Engineering Team so they can have a closer look at the problem.
