Basilisk X Hyperspeed Laggy after a bit

When I go away from my computer, and then come back to use it later, my Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed model RC30-031501 is very slow and laggy. If I lift it up and flip the switch away from 2.4 and then back to 2.4, it responds quickly as normal. What is wrong and how do I make it so I don't have to do this everytime I come back to my computer? I am using the 2.4 MHz communications and the adapter. Best Regards, Kirk Crawford
