I have a Barracuda x headphones bought a few months ago, (registered), and was very pleased with them.
I have just found the right plastic escutcheon in two halves on the floor. This is the small plastic piece with the letter R on it that fits around the pivot for the earpiece. It just seems to be cosmetic.
It was neatly in two halves, and I cannot see how it "broke" off, and I am at a loss how it has happened, as they have a hook next to my chair where they are kept, so it must have happened putting them on/off.
I have carefully glued it together around the headband, and when the glue was dry, pushed it back into place, the two small screws that retained it still in the headphones, so no longer securing it.
My advice to all is to be careful using them, as I have never had earphones have bits fall off them before, it is the ear pads that usually wear out. I just hope the headband is secured to the earpieces in a stronger way!
