Black Screen after update, but keyboard still lights up? | Razer Insider

Please help! I just ran a windows update on my laptop, a 15 inch advance model that I bought brand new in September, and after restarting from the update, the screen stays black but the keyboard lights are running. It briefly goes to the regular reboot screen like it's turning on but the goes black and stays black screen. It sounds like everything is still running too- the fans are running and the facial recognition camera activates like it's turning on. All I'm getting is a black screen though! I've restarted like five times already and nothing it changing. This is my work and school laptop! It was working perfectly before this! All I did was restart it after the update- is there some way to fix this?

I really need this laptop and I don't know what to do!

Edit:

I fixed it by reverting to the previous windows version. Is this issue with windows updates normal? I was previously a mac user and so I've never encountered an update that broke my screen before. Am I stuck never updating or is there a way to vet if an update will break my system? I'd appreciate any insight, this is my first windows system ever.
Windows OS isn't exactly tailored to one device. There is a small chance that some updates trigger system issues. With that said, they are rarely system crippling like the one you experienced. Do you mind sending me a screenshot of what Windows Updater is trying to install? You can upload the image on GDrive or Dropbox and send me a shareable link.
