Black Widow Elite and numlock/media buttons

I recently got myself a Black Widow Elite keyboard, and some things are so annoying, I am desperate for help. If I turn on capslock or numlock (or things like those), the light indicators (above the arrowkeys), will be bright insane white. This clash with the rest of my preferences. If I touch a media button the same insane white will occur, but at least subside. Please tell me, how to costumize this insane white light into anything else. Ideally I would love to have the colour of the capslock or numlock itself change instead! If that is not possible, is there any way I can invert the numlock? Somehow costumize the keys to think numlock=off means numbers (and reverse). I see a lot of stuff about costumizing buttons in Synapse, but I am too newbie to "get it". I need the for-dummies help here.
