blackshark v2 pro 2023 beeping | Razer Insider

Hello, I have my Razer Blackshark v2 Pro 2023 for around 6 months. Whenever I disconnect them, I can hear “beeping” in left heapdhone earcup almost like it’s a sound it makes when it’s looking for a device to connect. It’s OK, since it’s only when it’s disconnected.

But yesterday I tried to clean them. I took off the ear cushions, cleaned them and now for some reason I can hear this werid beeping-like sound all the time. It’s only from left earcup and it’s very annoying. I tried many solutions I could find on the internet, like this one: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4003 but it didn’t help.

I tried fully reinstalling Synapse with following all steps with this tutorial: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1708 but it didn’t help either.

Everything works just fine, I don’t have any other problems, I didn’t damage the headset because all I did is I took off the cushions and cleaned them. After that I’ve put them back in and now there’s beeping all the time in left earcup. Can anyone help?

The long standing beeping issue, and the one I have, is the audio cuts out for seconds at a time. I’m literally on a video meeting for work right now, and while people are talking, the audio goes silent, 2 seconds later theres a double beep, goes silent for 3-4 more seconds and then eventually comes back. This is a persistent issue, I have used USB ports on the side of my Razer Blackwidow V2 Pro, USB directly on motherboard, USB on case, uninstalled and re-installed the SYnapse program, and have no other major accessories opr peripherals that would use 2.4Ghz wireless nearby-- My keyboard is wired and so is everything else-- Only headset is wireless.

Razer ignores this issue for years, won’t address it, and admins constantly lock threads about it to sweep this udner the rug.

Solution: If you come across this, RETURN THE HEADSET TO RETAILER. I’m outside of my return policy, but have a Best Buy protection plan, and plan to claim it for a defective headset soon. I have had Razer everything (Razer Blackshark headset V2 before upgrading to the V2 Pro, Razer Blackwidow V2 and Razer Naga Trinity), but this single issue alone is enough for me to pull the plug and go different on everything. Looking at Steelseries and Logitech for headset, Amazon rando mechanical keyboard with hot swappable switches and whatever else for mouse. This lack of acknowledgement can’t be awarded anymore, “best microphone on a gamign headset” be damned.

My Razer Black Shark V2 Pro started beeping after I hooked up a Meta Quest 3 VR Headset. Constantly beeping and cutting out for seconds at as time.

I SOLVED MY ISSUE: By moving the dongle from my USB hub to a direct USB input on my Midi Tower.

I have used it for a few hours over 2 days and it is operating 100%. It was driving me crazy.
