Bought the headset only few months back, and here are some problems that i have encountered and still unable to resolve them yet. (Using latest firmware and newest synapse version).
- Static/crackling sound when there is no audio playing (sometimes it does not produce static but most of the time it is). It does not really noticeable, however sometimes it suddenly rams up the static sound for a second the moment i stop playing audio.
- The headset will not turn off if inactivity, i set the timer at 15 minutes in Synapse but it still on after 15 minutes mark and only turn off when either i manually turn it off or turn off the computer.
- When i adjust the volume dial on the headset, there are some delays (the effect of changing the sound volume takes a few second). When i set the volume to 0 and change it back to normal, the headset unable to produce any sound, unless i restart the computer.
- The microphone of the headset stopped working in certain games (At this point i only have discovered Tom Clancy Breakpoint and Wildlands that causing this). The moment i launch these games the microphone immediately stopped working, and the only way to make it work again is to restart the computer. I have tried other headsets and they all work as expected except this one.
These are all problems that i am currently experiencing, this is very frustrating and disappointing especially when this headset cost me around 349 AUD….
