Blackshark V2, turning sound knob crackles and lowers sound in left/right ear

So, Ive had this wonderful headset for a year now and I just recently started having an issue, if I turn the volume knob I get crackling sounds, once I’m passed the halfway point on the knob I have to literally slowly turn the knob until I hear equal sounds in both ears… If I turn in all the way up, the sound lowers in the left ear… so I have to slowly turn the volume knob back down until sound is equal and thorough in both ears.
