Blackshark v2 wired has unbalanced audio

Recently the audio has been off balance in my blackshark v2 and I don't know why. It seems to switch between going quiet in my right ear then going quiet in my left ear while the right side goes normal again. At first I thought it was random but I notice it happens when I take the headset off then put it on again. The only fixes I have seen have been to change the balance in the sound settings but it is very annoying because I am constantly changing the balance to fix the lopsided audio. Does anybody know any permanent fixes?
