I've tried a lot of things for this, but have yet to find a solution. I'll be playing games with my friends on my laptop, and then suddenly they won't be able to hear me. Usually if I unplug and plug back in several times, it starts working again, but only for 15 minutes or so. I just purchased them early this year, and they've been doing this for several months, they can't be going bad yet, can they?

I thought maybe it was because I wasn't using the usb dongle, just the headphone/mic jack, but actually if I do use the usb dongle it won't work *at all*. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, making sure everything on my computer was the most up to date...I'm at a loss. It's unfortunate that at this point, I can't even use my gaming headphones.

Did you already try the steps here? Otherwise, it's highly likely a hardware problem. PM me the serial number and share a copy of your receipt so I can validate its model and check its warranty status before starting a case for a warranty claim. Thanks!
