Blackshark V2 X - No EQ?

Nope, V2 X doesn't come with sound card, so you can't edit it in Synapse.

Hi I just got my Razer product, the Blackshark V2 X, and i reeeeaaally wanna tweak the EQ to my liking, but i have not yet been able to find anyway where that could be possible. It seems like in the "old" Razer Surround, you were able to EQ it from that app. But in Razer Surround 7.1 there is no settings or anything. Am i overseeing the obvious, or how do i do this? Thank beforehand

You would need to purchase the THX surround sound software. After a certain point of using the free 7.1 surround sound it will prompt you to upgrade to the THX drivers instead. The pricing for it is $19.99 plus local tax, but there's a good chance you'll get a discount of some kind. After a while the 7.1 surround sound window will offer I believe a 50% discount. And honestly, it's a huge upgrade even if it doesn't come natively with the headphones. The drivers are much more brilliantly made for surround sound than 7.1 considering how many issues I've had with the 7.1 drivers. If I were you I'd just opt for a refund and purchase the regular BlackShark V2 cause that one has even better built-in audio drivers (NOT talking about the additional 7.1 or THX audio drivers, I mean the regular headphone drivers that still function with both 7.1 and THX drivers turned OFF, talking specifically about the built-in drivers) due to more optimized vocal clarity but if you don't want to deal with that then you should buy a THX code instead, you'd be saving $20 (or potentially more) in the process of doing that (I currently own a Kraken and the THX drivers are seriously better than the 7.1 drivers, but I'm going to finally upgrade to a regular BlackShark V2 for it having better vocals clarity with its titanium-coated diaphragms, plus I accidentally managed to damage the memory foam on my Kraken's right ear, was not fun to repair either but that's besides the point)
