I just bought myself the Blackshark V2X USB and the THX spatial audio standalone app (since the headset is not compatible with synapse 3 and 4) and I have some issues.
- When starting windows, I need to “kickstart” it, by disabling and reenabling it for it to work or switching to another equalizer setting
- Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, when i’m playing a video on youtube and I pause any audio for whatever reason, it switches back to stereo. Sometimes it switches back to stereo randomly in game, there’s a wierd “click” when it switches back to stereo or I switch it back to 7.1
- It doesn’t work in Forza Horizon 4, I managed to make it work once, but now the setting is on THX spatial audio but it is still stereo, tried restarting the game and the app nothing works
I tried uninstalling both Synapse 4 and THX spatial audio, restarting and installing them both, it worked for a day and the issues came back
I need to play with the settings constantly for the app to work properly, tried installing eartrumpet to put the audio source in THX spatial output, it works for some things but not everything
