Blackwidow Chroma not showing up in Synapse

Running MacOS 10.14, latest update. Running latest version of Synapse 2 for Mac.

I am actually running into 2 issues, although they may be the same.

1. When I plug in the keyboard, it shows up in Synapse with a progress bar that indicates it is loading. It gets to 41% and seems to get stuck for a bit, and then it finishes, however once it is "loaded" the icon for the keyboard disappears off the bottom of the Synapse window and I am unable to configure the keyboard.

2. I cannot get the on-the-fly macro keys to work. The light indicators that the recording has started and stopped work, however using the selected key does not execute the macro.

**I'm only going to reply to point 1, as I haven't really tried the on-the-fly macro recording with my BlackWidow Chroma Stealth.

What do you do next after your icon disappears? This happens to me every once in a while, and I usually just have to unplug and plug my keyboard back in for the device to show up again and become configurable. Not only with my keyboard, but with my Naga Epic Chroma as well.
I have tried unplugging and replugging the keyboard in. When I do, nothing happens, the downloading label shows up, but stays at 0% for a while and then disappears.

I've also tried unplugging all my other Razer devices and plugging in the keyboard with the same results.

I have also tried creating a new account and logging in, the results are also the same.
