BlackWidow V3 Pro problem + Basilisk Ultimate problem | Razer Insider

Hi all. So within the last 12 months i bought the aboved named items, brand new. I honestly wish i hadn't .

Even writing this message my keyboard keeps spamming characters twice, mainly the space bar button . Its really frustrating. And the another hugely annoying thing is the fact that my mouse has today started to just become non responsive when it feels like it. I was playing COD and it kept ruining my game. Sometimes it responds within 3 seconds, other times take more than 30 seconds. I have used Synapse and updated firmware etc.

And i am even running both via their usb cables, incase it was a wireless signal issue, as these 2 items can both run wirelessly.

Also, the fact that the software is buggy, like the way it says it will load at Windows startup but it doesn't; oh and the fact the 2 items cannot even remember my RGB settings, unless the software is running. I just generally don't feel happy with the quality of these items considering how much they cost me.

Myself and my friend have just been joking about the true fact that our £10 chinese ebay gaming mouse's have had absolute zero issues, yet this high end gear has caused serious headache. Ideally i would like a full refund, can anyone give me any advice please? Obviously it would be ideal to get these working flawlessly but somehow i have a feeling these problems will rear their heads again somewhere down the line.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
Not a single reply? I would have though someone could advise? Even Razer staff, no??
I have had the same issue with my keyboard about key-spamming.

It mainly occured with my "K"-key, but less frequently with other keys, too.

I've looked through several forums to see if other people have had similar issues and apparently the key-spamming issue is extremely common with the Blackwidow V3 Pro.

I've read about problemsolving such as re-installing Razor Synapse, connect the keyboard to another PC to see if it's a hardware issue, returning the keyboard at the store and get a brand new back home just to experience the same problem, taking the key off and spraying compressed air into the key meanwhile pressing it repeatly, manually install the software from Razor's own support page.

I have tried all methods mentioned above, and as of now I still have the issue. Though it is less serious now, since it seems to happen less frequently, but nonetheless, it still happens about 20% of the time.

So final conclussion. Stay FAR away from Razor products until they get their overpriced shit to work properly. As of now I would recommend a $2 mouse/keyboard made by child labor or dig one up from a dumpster, since they seem to be much more reliable.

That being said (in case any Razor employee reads this). In the time my Razor products actually was working, I was quite certain that it was the best keyboard that I ever have had, becuase it felt extremely comfortable to type on, had some cool and promising features and was generally a very satisfying experience.... Untill the unsolvable key-spamming issue appeared and made the keyboard into a worthless disappointment followed by extreme regret of believing in this product....
Yep i totally agree with you- cheap trash wireless keyboard and mouse combo's are more reliable than this junk. I am even more annoyed now that the store i bought the mouse from have said they tested it for hours, and no problems- and they are now posting this RMA trash back to me, even though i explained to them that the problem is intermittent. So it looks like i shall be stuck with this . Razer, i want my money back...
Hey Jesper, Check out a mechanical keyboard called ADX MK02. I bought it for like £20 here in the UK brand new and it is actually better than my Razer keyboard. Feels exact same weight wise, and they key strokes are perfect, and had absolute zero issues with it. And yes it does have rgb :smile_:, the same crazy coulour display options that C0rsair/Razer keyboards can do. Really surprised with how good it is. I highly recommend it, if it is available where you live. Ive bought a second one to keep in the cupboard just because of how cheap it is.
Im having a key spppamming issue also. Ive never had this issue with cheapper keyboards.

How do I get a refund?
Yes so i managed to get a refund for the keyboard, but the mouse i am stuck with. Your best option is to go back to the retailer you bought it from , you should have at least 12 months warranty. And in the future, never buy Razer products again. Best of luck.
same problem but full keyboard and now random keys are glowing randomly
