Hi all,
I turned on my Blade 14 (AMD) to find that the trackpad has stopped working.
Device manager seems to be unable to start it with message:
> This device cannot start. (Code 10)
> A request for the HID descriptor failed.
Tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, to the best of my knowledge only available through windows update, but the issue persists even after reboots.
Driver version is 10.0.22000.653:
and hardware ID is ACPI\\VEN_1A58&DEV_2014:
I tried seeing if there was an option to disable and reenable the trackpad on the bios, but no joy (bios options are veeery limited).
The issue started today, the laptop was working fine last night and it was only put to sleep, not turned off.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I'm desperate to resolve this problem as I use the trackpad all the time!
